Guardian Caps Proving Reliable

Jeff Miller, NFL Executive Vice President overseeing player health and safety, said that there’s been a significant decrease in concussions.According to Miller, there has been a 52 percent decrease in concussions suffered by players at positions wearing Guardian Caps, compared to the concussion rate of players at the same positions over the last three years of training camps when Guardian Caps weren’t worn.-Michael David Smith, Pro Football Talk

Cutting concussions by more than half is no small feat. Especially when you consider the changes the NFL has implemented for all injuries, but especially those that involve the head.
Now there's no telling if or when the NFL will implement the Guardian Caps into the regular season and postseason contests, but if the research and development of the cap only continues to improve, there is reason to believe it could become a staple in Football at all levels.
Yes it looks a little odd, and I know that many players have expressed their dislike of the product, but it has become commonplace in camp and you have heard few if any rumblings from players this year.
The game is changing and evolving for the better, and that includes the uniform.
