Jaycee Horn, the Carolina Panthers' high-potential third-year cornerback, first heard of Rejzohn Wright when he was watching Netflix's Last Chance U in college at the University of South Carolina.

Wright, also a cornerback, was featured in the fifth season of the hit Netflix show, played at Laney College. It took Horn a few minutes of watching him play through a television screen in his dorm room to determine that he would be an NFL player. And as it turns out, Horn was right.

"I watched him on Last Chance U, and I told my roommate at the time, 'bro, he's going to be in the league. He can play,'" Horn said Tuesday. "So, when he told me he was coming to Carolina, I was excited and ready for him to get here."

The story goes: Horn's best friend ended up getting drafted by the Dallas Cowboys. And Wright's older brother also ended up getting drafted by Dallas. The two grew close. So, with Horn and Wright, his arrival to the Panthers is a family affair.

Wright went undrafted in the 2023 NFL Draft. He signed as an undrafted free agent with the Panthers in April, and now he will be fighting to make the final roster throughout training camp.

Wright stands 6-foot-1, 193 pounds. At Oregon State, Wright was All-Pac-12 First Team, Associated Press All-Pac-12 Second Team, and played in 12 games making 11 starts. He also recorded 38 tackles with half a tackle for loss, one fumble recovery, two interceptions, and nine pass breakups.

It isn't a guarantee that Wright will make the final roster, but by knowing Horn and his time on a viral Netflix show, he could have an inside hand.
