The Green Bay Packers are days away from playing their first preseason game against the Cincinnati Bengals, which means things have become a lot more clear when it comes to who will and won't make the final roster on August 29.
So, let's go ahead and discuss three Packers players that are falling behind on offense.
Three Losers Through Packers Training Camp
C Josh Myers

Myers has had a really rough camp and as of a week ago, is in a competition with Zach Tom for his job as starting center.
Per Pack-A-Day Podcast's Andy Herman, Myers has been responsible for all five botched snaps experienced during Packers training camp, thus far. He's also been very inconsistent in all phases of his blocking.
"Josh has done a really good job, but we need more consistency and [the] complete confidence that he's fully capable of doing that and we've seen that from him," LaFleur told reporters last Thursday. "But it's just like every other position that we have. We need to pull out the best of everybody and so when you have capable people it naturally creates some level of competition and ultimately that makes us a better football team when we have guys pushing to compete for starting jobs."
Myers better pick it up fast. Because when David Bakhtiari is on the field – he's fighting Tom for his job. And the Packers plan hope to have Bakhtiari on the field every Sunday, so, it's easy to see the writing on the wall if he doesn't improve.
RB Lew Nichols III

A shoulder injury caused Nichols to miss Family Night and he also missed Monday’s practice. Before that, he was struggling with catching the ball and he wasn’t doing anything to pass Tyler Goodson or Patrick Taylor on the depth chart.
The Packers running back room is already crowded enough because of how the team uses Aaron Jones and A.J. Dillon. The offense only really needs three backs on the 53-man roster and can always call another up from the practice squad if either of the aforementioned guys go down.
Therefore, it was a four-man battle for one job before Nichols' injury last Thursday. Since then, the team signed Nate McCrary – so now it's a five-man battle.
The arrow is certainly pointing down for Nichols. It'll be interesting to see how he bounces back when he returns to the practice field.
WR Grant DuBose

DuBose finally received some positive news on Monday when he was cleared to practice for the first time, ever, as a Packer. But, still, a lot has been set in motion since he was drafted back in April and it’s going to take a very impressive three weeks for him to try and turn the momentum in his favor.
Fortunately, he'll be around for all three preseason games and that will give him his best opportunity of gaining ground on guys like Malik Heath, Bo Melton, and maybe even Dontayvion Wicks.
It'd be a pretty cool story if DuBose can pull that off and it would also be an impressive one, at that.
Things are starting to round into shape, but the preseason games will still have a say in what ultimately happens. For all we know, these guys could be on the rise after Friday night, but as with all things NFL, we'll just have to wait and see.
