The Las Vegas Raiders have had some drama surrounding them this offseason, as they normally do. Okay, we are past the Derek Carr stuff; it's on to bigger and better things now. The Jimmy Garoppolo drama is almost behind us in terms of the injury. However, the Josh Jacobs contract situation is still looming.

Jacobs wants to be paid what he deserves, and he wants a long-term deal to be in Las Vegas too. The Raiders, obviously, aren't on the same page as Jacobs. Now, Davante Adams, the Raiders' best player, may not be on the same page either.

At this point, that is the last guy you want unhappy. But he already is.

"I mean, you see the way we like to play the game," Adams said on NFL Network. "We like to run the ball. You've got to have somebody back there that's a dog, that if you're going to give it to him over 300 times. So, not having him right now is obviously something that I'm not happy with. But we've got to keep it going as a team until we figure out that piece. But obviously, he's a huge part of this team and this offense; he's a really good leader, and obviously, he played like the best back in the league last year, which, if you ask me, he is the best back in the league.

"So, it's tough not having him at this part of the training period trying to get ready for the season, but we'll see what happens down the line. But definitely, he was a big part of this team in the past, so hopefully we can figure something out."

Now, it seems like Adams is almost never happy since he has been here. Do you know what could fix that? Winning football. I guarantee you that if they are coming off of a playoff appearance, Adams isn't saying he is upset. Then again, I don't know. I am not in his head.

But he does have a reason to be upset. And he isn't upset with Jacobs for holding out. They are friends and brothers and have a great relationship, so he wants Jacobs to get his money. I think if he is upset, he is saying it's with the franchise to get the deal done.

Maybe the Raiders hear Adams, and they get right back to work on that deal. Maybe they hear him, and they start to cave in a bit with what Jacobs wants. That is something we will only have to watch for.
