The Kansas City Chiefs received great news on Tuesday, a week after the first week of free agency when they found out Derrick Nnadi would be rejoining them for the 2023 season, per his agents at Sports Trust.
Nnadi started all 20 games for the Chiefs last season. He has been a part of the Chiefs' dominant run since 2018, so why wouldn't he be back? Who wouldn't want to come back and give a repeat Super Bowl a try?
Nnadi doesn't have many stats on paper, but it's more so all about the things he does that don't show up. He stuffs gaps and just takes up space. His role was one the Chiefs covet, a lot.
It will be good to have him back next season, in one that is crucial. This is nothing but great news for the Chiefs.
