One of the Tennessee Vols' top 2024 commits is four-star cornerback Kaleb Beasley.

The Lipscomb Academy (Nashville) standout committed to Tennessee the week after the Vols' 52-49 win over Alabama this past season.

Beasley, 6-foot/179 lbs, is rated in 247Sports' composite rankings as the No. 14 cornerback in the nation and the No. 1 player in the state of Tennessee.

Landing Beasley was huge for the Vols. Cornerback is a position where Tennessee needs to add some elite talent and Beasley certainly fits the bill.

Tennessee, however, has to keep Beasley in the commit column. And that could be tough.

On3 reported on Thursday that Beasley has scheduled visits this spring for Notre Dame and Auburn (he's also set to visit Tennessee again this spring).

According to On3, Notre Dame has continued to recruit Beasley hard. They noted that Fighting Irish head coach Marcus Freeman even checked out one of Beasley's basketball games back in March.

Freeman is a defensive minded head coach so I can see the allure of Beasley wanting to play for him.

"I definitely love Coach Freeman," said Beasley to On3. "He knows how to connect with families and his players. It’s great.”

“A lot of schools just focus on the football part, but graduating with a Notre Dame degree would be really big," added Beasley.

The Vols are still the favorites in this recruiting battle, but they've got their work cut out for them if they're going to sign Beasley.

Auburn is also in the mix, but Notre Dame is the program that Tennessee needs to be the most worried about here.
