The Dallas Cowboys will be looking to fill important roster needs this offseason. Wide receiver and defensive back are probably the two biggest that need to be addressed. But, the front office will identify players all across the board.

Linebacker is another position that could rise in importance for the Cowboys. That is due to the possibility of Leighton Vander Esch leaving in free agency, as the two sides are reportedly not close to reaching an extension.

Therefore, Dan Quinn would have to love adding a defender from this draft class. Especially one that provides a versatile skill set and can play multiple positions — similarly to All-Pro Micah Parsons.

Fortunately, there is a player in this draft class that admitted that he modes his game after the Cowboys' superstar: former Texas standout Demarvion Overshown. And it just so happens that the Cowboys and Overshown have met multiple times already.

Quinn met with Overshown at the Senior Bowl back in January. Now, the two sides have again visited at the NFL Scouting Combine. That potentially points to some legit interest in keeping Overshown inside the Lone Star State.

Overshown made an impact all over the field for the Longhorns. He rushed off the edge, played a traditional linebacker role, and even defended wide receivers from the slot. In fact, he initially played safety at Texas.

That kind of versatility from a 6-3 and 229-pound athlete is not exactly common. Which makes him an even more intriguing draft prospect with the way the NFL has shifted to spreading out defenses.

The Dallas Cowboys have met and will continue to meet with a plethora of NFL Draft prospects. Some will be legit targets, while others won't be of much interest come draft weekend.

Still, there appears to be some legitimate interest in Demarvion Overshown. It can't hurt that he models his game after Micah Parsons, either.
