There are several noteworthy changes as the offensive side of things was significantly overhauled. Not only did Kellen Moore part ways as offensive coordinator but the team is also adding/promoting several coaches well-known to Mike McCarthy.

Joining or stepping up in McCarthy's staff are Brian Schottenheimer (OC), Mike Solari (OL), Scott Tolzien (QB), Jeff Blasko (RB), and Will Harriger (offensive assistant), among others. On the defensive side of things, two young former NFL players join the squad as assistant position coaches Darian Thompson (LB) and Shariff Floyd (DL).

One important name that is missing on the defensive side of things is George Edwards, who wasn't brought back after his contract expired. He'll join the Tampa Bay Buccaneers alongside Skip Peete (former Cowboys RB coach).
