The Philadelphia Eagles have had a bit of a problem so far this off-season. Well, it's actually kind of a big problem. The combine is right around the corner and they don't have an offensive or defensive coordinator yet.
But, they are getting one step closer to filling in one of those spots. At least, that's what we can only assume with the latest news we have received.
According to Ian Rapoport, the Seahawks' associate head coach, and defensive assistant Sean Desai is in Philadelphia today for his second interview for the defensive coordinator job.
Usually, when a coach gets a second interview, something good is happening. They like what they see so far and needed to get to know Desai one more time before making a decision, which is what I would guess is happening.
Desai is a disciple of Vic Fangio, a guy who is all about defense and has coached some pretty great ones during his career as well.
If you ask me, Desai may be the best candidate remaining for the job, unless they were to elevate someone within the organization.
I think we see Desai wearing green and black next week, but Eagles green of course, not Seahawks green.
