Lions' new free agent addition makes strong statement about Dan Campbell

The Detroit Lions signed cornerback Cam Sutton to a free-agent deal this week.
Sutton's deal with Detroit is reportedly worth $33 million over three years.
The former Tennessee Vols standout spent the first six seasons of his career with the Pittsburgh Steelers, becoming a dependable starting cornerback along the way.
On Thursday, Sutton met with reporters for the first time since signing his new deal.
Sutton made it clear that the culture in Detroit was a big reason why he signed with the Lions (he also noted that Detroit was the first team to contact him).
The 28-year-old cornerback told reporters that lots of players around the league want to play for Campbell.
"Seeing what he's been doing around the league, it's exhilarating, man," said Sutton on Thursday. "Like, guys love this guy. Not just me speaking, but you see how far it spreads around the league. Guys want to play for him. Guys love the energy and everything he brings."
Coaches can't have success in the NFL without great players. And it sounds like the Lions won't have trouble attracting great players with Campbell in town.
With the Green Bay Packers heading toward a rebuild, the Lions are primed to challenge the Minnesota Vikings for the NFC North division title in 2023.
