It will be easier this time around.

Last season, one of the 12 wins for the Dallas Cowboys came against the Indianapolis Colts, the former team of five-time Pro Bowl cornerback Stephon Gilmore, the team's newest addition.

When the teams came together on the field after the contest, Cowboys All-Pro linebacker Micah Parsons made sure to swap jerseys with Gilmore, although he had to fight All-Pro teammate Trevon Diggs to do so.

Gilmore spoke on Parsons and Diggs and that moment where all three met on the turf at AT&T Stadium, and how he needs to make up for something he failed to accomplish.

"Both of those guys are great players. I told them both that I wanted their jersey before the game," said Gilmore. "I got mad at one of my teammates for not getting Diggs that day. I still gotta get that now that I'm here."

Gilmore won't have any problem getting that done now as he and Diggs will operate in the same secondary.

Diggs has made a name for himself as a ball-hawking player at the cornerback position, due in large part to his background as a wide receiver during his high school days in Maryland and his freshman year at Alabama.

Gilmore brings a wealth of experience and is seasoned in playing every coverage a cornerback can be tasked with. As a result, he plans to share that knowledge with Diggs.

"Diggs is a great player. The things he does on the field, just watching him, he has great ball skills. He has a bright future, Gilmore said. "I'm just going to come in and teach him the things I know that I didn't know as a young player to try to bring him along. We're going to push each other."

Surely, if Gilmore does that for Diggs, that No.7 jersey he covets will be his in no time.
