The New England Patriots are re-signing long snapper Joe Cardona, his former teammate, Jason McCourty, reported Thursday.

It’s a four-year deal for Cardona, according to ESPN’s Mike Reiss, with a $1 million sighing bonus.

Cardona was selected out of Navy in the fifth round of the 2015 NFL Draft. He’s won two Super Bowls in New England and was a member of the Patriots’ All-Dynasty Team. In 127 games, Cardona has 15 career tackles. He missed the first three games of his career in 2022.

The Patriots have also brought back center James Ferentz, offensive tackles Conor McDermott and Yodny Cajuste, defensive tackle Carl Davis, linebackers Raekwon McMillan and Mack Wilson, cornerbacks Jonathan Jones and Myles Bryant and safety Jabrill Peppers this offseason. The Patriots released punter Jake Bailey, but kicker Nick Folk remains under contract. New England also has another long snapper, Tucker Addington, on their 90-man roster.
