The NFL announced their top 25 performance-based payouts, and two Cincinnati Bengals players made the cut.

Left guard Cordell Volson and linebacker Logan Wilson earned pay raises from the league for their 2022 seasons.

Volson ended with the second-highest distribution of $854,407 behind veteran safety Marcus Epps. Wilson was awarded with $669,729.

Performance-based pay essentially elevates players' salaries the year after they played a significant amount of snaps. It's designed to help out players with low base salaries.

Volson, for example, ended up playing 1,305 offensive snaps last year (including postseason) while earning just $705,000. Wilson was on the field for 1,155 snaps and earned $1,059,600 over the course of the season.

These payments will be added onto Volson and Wilson's base salaries for the 2023 season.

Entering 2023, Volson will look to build off a solid rookie season at left guard. He'll be playing next to one of the biggest offensive linemen in the game in Orlando Brown Jr. as well.

Wilson, who's been a starter for the past two seasons, is eligible for an extension starting this offseason. The team just paid linebacker Germaine Pratt a three-year contract worth just over $20 million.
