The Kansas City Chiefs have lost some great players for their 2022 Super Bowl team. It's safe to say there could be another key player added to that list, especially after his cryptic message on Twitter.

Kansas City lost Khalen Saunders, Orlando Brown Jr., JuJu Smith-Schuster, and Juan Thornhill, who all played pivotal roles in the Super Bowl.

Luckily, they have been able to replace each loss with another player in some way, well, almost every player. For Brown Jr., they added former Jaguars tackle Jawaan Taylor. For Khalen Saunders they added Drue Tranquill and Charles Omenihu. For Juan Thornhill, they added Mike Edwards. The only one that hasn't had a replacement yet is Smith-Schuster, who joined the New England Patriots.

The Chiefs may not need to replace him if they can get Mecole Hardman to re-sign. But, it seems he may be sending cryptic messages on Twitter.

On Saturday, he posted four videos from the practice of him winning 1-on-1's against L'Jarius Sneed. The caption just had about seven periods, as if he was posting it to make a subtle point.

There are a few things to take away from this:

The first thing that comes to mind for me is the Chiefs offered him a deal and he didn't like it. Maybe he felt disgruntled or upset that they would offer him what they did, so he posts the videos.

Or, maybe it's another team, or maybe no teams offered him. Something has him upset, in my opinion. Why else would he do that? To me, he is definitely sending some sort of cryptic message.

Hardman played great when he was healthy last season. His game against the San Francisco 49ers is one that any team should turn on if they want to see exactly what he can do. He scored three total touchdowns on the league's best defense.

But, he only played eight games due to an injury. That is likely where the concern comes in.

The Chiefs seem to love what they have in Kadarius Toney, Marquez Valdes-Scantling, and Skyy Moore, but, they still need another receiver. They could bring Hardman back, but we still have no idea what will happen.
