It's officially (spring) football time in Tennessee.

The Vols kicked off spring practice on Monday and it marked the beginning of Josh Heupel's third season as Tennessee's head coach.

Heupel enters his third season at UT with an 18-8 record over his first two years.

On Tuesday morning, Tennessee's official social media accounts dropped a great behind-the-scenes video of Heupel in action at the Vols' first spring practice.

The video shows Heupel working his way through the practice as he checks in with various position groups. At one point, Heupel stops to work with defensive back Doneiko Slaughter on his footwork.

There's a lot of talk about how Heupel is only an offensive coach. And there's no doubt that offense is his specialty, but he shows in this video from UT that he doesn't spend time with only the offense.

Heupel is the best of both worlds for the Vols. He's a master when it comes to scheme and he's a great "CEO" as well. That's usually the formula for an elite head coach. Heupel has a little ways to go before he can be considered elite (it takes more than one 11-win season to get to that level), but he's certainly well on his way.
