The Dallas Cowboys are notorious for sitting on their hands when it comes to free-agency moves. However, that may be changing soon.

It's not a secret that the Cowboys, have had immense interest in free agent wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. for quite a while. Beckham recently held a workout for several teams to show that he's fully healed from the torn ACL he suffered last February in the Super Bowl, but the Cowboys didn't attend.

What occurred on Monday proves that doesn't matter at all as NFL Network's Jane Slater reported that Cowboys owner Jerry Jones is not only still in pursuit of Beckham, but he's leading the charge.

"I'm told Jerry Jones is very much driving the bus on this," said Slater. "In other words, if this gets done, it's Jerry and Jerry alone."

Is that so, Jerry?

For quite some time now, Stephen Jones, the Cowboys executive vice president and son of Jerry, has been the man controlling the team's finances, and his reputation is to be pretty frugal.

His father, once upon a time, was known for making big moves like bringing in Hall of Famers Charles Haley and Deion Sanders to the Cowboys which resulted in Super Bowl titles in the 1990s.

All eyes will certainly be on this situation even more now with Jerry taking the reigns.
