The entire NFL world is awaiting Aaron Rodgers' "decision".

Rodgers is expected, at any time, to choose between being traded to the New York Jets, retirement, or playing for the Green Bay Packers in 2023.

Multiple reports indicated on Monday that the Rodgers to the Jets deal was "done", but no one would ever confirm the news. That's almost certainly because Rodgers wants his decision to be announced on his terms.

Another report on Monday suggested that some Jets players are already annoyed by the whole process.

While it's clear that the Jets want Rodgers in New York — and several Jets players have been recruiting Rodgers — they don't necessarily like being held "hostage" by the future Hall of Famer.

SNY's Connor Hughes tweeted on Monday afternoon that he's spoken with some Jets players that said the way Rodgers' has handled the situation doesn't sit well with them.

That's not exactly surprising. Sure, Rodgers is one of the best NFL players of all time. So he kind of gets to play by a different set of rules when it comes to negotiations.

But it comes across like Rodgers is taking this unnecessary dragging-it-out approach for his own amusement. That's not exactly a great way for a player to endear himself to potential new teammates.

We should know soon (maybe) how this plays out. At this point, it feels like all options are equally realistic.
