Many questions lie ahead in what could be a franchise-altering offseason for the Green Bay Packers.

The elephant in the room, as is tradition, is the future of Aaron Rodgers. But while the 10-time Pro Bowler is pondering a relocation in 2023, Green Bay can’t just sit around and wait to improve the roster.

Obviously Rodgers’ return put the Packers in position to contend in the NFC, but he will need an improved cast of pass catchers to throw to.

Oftentimes, Rodgers would make his frustrations about his young wide receiver corps public. After all, there is a wide gap in experience between the 39-year-old quarterback and receivers such as Romeo Doubs (22) and Christian Watson (23).

If Randall Cobb doesn’t return to football, the Packers must find a serviceable replacement who can pick up a new offense quickly.

Enter Allen Robinson.

Robinson received permission from the Los Angeles Rams to seek out a trade. His struggles in Los Angeles were well-documented as the offense never seemed to mesh without Matthew Stafford and Cooper Kupp.

However Green Bay knows what Robinson is capable of. He racked up back-to-back seasons of at least 1,100 receiving yards with the Chicago Bears.

The Packers won’t likely have to give up much in exchange for Robinson, either. So, if Rodgers returns, pairing him with a veteran wideout such as Robinson should help elevate the passing game in 2023.
