The Las Vegas Raiders have dealt with two of their best players having injuries in the last few years. Tight end Darren Waller and wide receiver Hunter Renfrow haven't been the healthiest, to say the least.

Waller has played in just 20 games the last two seasons, but that's just the games he has appeared in. He has played just 58% of the offensive snaps this year and 81% of the offensive snaps in 2021.

Renfrow played in just 61% of all the offensive snaps this year and played in 67% in 2021, but was still able to have a 1,000-yard season. But, it has to be demoralizing when two of the best players get hurt easily.

Now Waller is on the New York Giants, and we still don't know what will happen with Renfrow. But, we do know that McDaniels would like to see him healthy at training camp.

"I’d just love for him to have an opportunity to be healthy and go through the whole offseason and then into training camp and feel good about going into the season health-wise and then trying to stay healthy and seeing what he can do," McDaniels said at the annual league meetings in Arizona. "Obviously, he was a big reason I was excited about being here. I’ve had a long history of these kinds of guys that I’ve had a chance to work with and was super excited and, still, I’m super excited.”

It sucks for McDaniels and Renfrow because we haven't seen a healthy Renfrow yet in McDaniels' system. Sure, he has been healthy enough to play, but he hasn't always been 100% healthy this last season.

For McDaniels, he missed a true playmaker for most of the year that would have really helped them on offense, where they struggled to be consistent at times. It sucks that neither has been able to see what the best could be.

Renfrow struggled with injuries badly last year. It seemed like it was always something new. In Week 2 he suffered a concussion. After their loss to the Jaguars, the Raiders placed him on the injured reserve list with an abdominal muscle strain, per Draft Sharks. It seemed like last year he just couldn't get right, and even when he was playing, he wasn't fitting in great with the addition of Davante Adams.

Hopefully, if Renfrow does end up staying in Las Vegas, we see him get it right.
