NFL owners voted to allow players around the league to wear No. 0 as a jersey number. The rule change might cause months of controversy among passionate sports fans and media members but one thing couldn't be any clearer.

Players love it.

Many guys around the league have already claimed they're calling dibs on being their team's first-ever No. 0.

To the surprise of many Dallas Cowboys fans that includes… Micah Parsons. At least, according to one of his latest tweets:

But before you get upset about that No. 11 jersey you planned on getting (or already got), the Cowboys superstar was just trolling the fanbase. But you know what they say: what goes around comes around.

Teammate Jayron Kearse fired back with a reply of his own suggesting he's the new No. 0 in town.

You love to see it. Two Cowboys teammates having some fun on social media.

Although calling Parsons 'Agent 0' sounded fun, he's made for No. 11. Meanwhile, Kearse could still make use of the nickname Micah suggested while being one of Dan Quinn's most versatile players.

The Cowboys have not confirmed the jersey number change for the defensive back but it sure sounds like a strong possibility. In fact, Kearse even uploaded an edit of himself wearing No. 0 on his Instagram stories.

Whether it's Kearse or somebody else, players around the league have a unique chance of getting a unique piece of their franchise's history by claiming the recently made available number.
