Tennessee Titans great Keith Bulluck had a strong take this week regarding former Tennessee Vols quarterback Hendon Hooker.
Hooker is rising up draft boards as of late, and many teams are intrigued by the young veteran. Even as a rookie, Hooker will enter the league at an older age than most other players. The Titans are even a team that could be in play for the former Vols QB.
Hooker is expected to be a quarterback that sits at the start of his professional career due to his injury from last year as well as his development. It may take a bit of time.
Bulluck clearly believes that Hooker can be a starter at the NFL level.
He takes a lot of stock into the former Vol's performances from his senior year against SEC defenses. It will be tough to replicate some of the same offense that Hooker saw with Josh Heupel once he is in the NFL, but one team could potentially try that.
Regardless, Hooker has one former Titans fan favorite in his corner. He could be in the Titans QB room by this time next month.
