It's no secret that the Buffalo Bills have a powerhouse offense with Josh Allen leading the charge, and they are waiting to see if their most recent offseason addition is going to fit.

With organized team activities in full swing, Bills first-round pick Dalton Kincaid is getting his opportunity to shine, and the coaching staff is keeping a close eye on the tight end.

"I love his approach right now. It's been great. Just coming in here, eager to learn. Eager to just build a foundation, more so than anything," Bills offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey said. "We're nowhere close to knowing exactly what the big picture is going to be because we have to learn him and he has to learn us."

"How we are going to use him, where we are going to use him, all those questions and all those things, that really is to be determined," Dorsey added.

This will be ascertained as training camp and live-action games begin.

Kincaid was drafted by the Bills in the first round with the 25th overall pick in the 2023 draft. Coming out of Utah, the 6-foot-4, 246-pound tight end finished his final collegiate season with 70 receptions for 890 yards and eight touchdowns.

Kincaid sits behind Bills veteran Dawson Knox on the depth chart heading into OTAs and minicamp.

"It's constantly evolving. It's constantly changing. And, you're constantly adjusting certain things based to the personnel that you have," Dorsey said. "It's that process of learning what you have a little bit and building that foundation, so I think the critical thing is not rushing to make a decision right now on this is what it's going to be. I think we have to grow and we have to learn those pieces and they have to learn our system."

Now it's time to see what Kincaid can do.
