Tell us if you've heard this before, a successful NFL player has expressed interest in joining the Buffalo Bills.

Dalvin Cook became the latest in a long line of highly talented NFL players who have discussed or have been linked to the Buffalo Bills. In recent years, that list includes players like J.J. Watt, Zach Ertz, DeAndre Hopkins, Antonio Brown, and Saquan Barkley to name a few.

It's no surprise that Cook would show interest in joining Buffalo. He is used to the cold as he's spent his entire professional career in Minnesota. However, the real selling point would be to get to dominate a backfield with his brother, James Cook.

Cook has been rumored to be released from the Minnesota Vikings which brings us to how Buffalo was brought in. Most of these rumors stem from Cook declining the Vikings' request to take a pay cut and then the team being reportedly unable to trade the veteran running back. That's when the report surfaced of Cook's desire to play in either Miami or Buffalo, had he been given the choice.

Cook is from Miami. Has has made it known through sources he’d like to play either for the Dolphins or with his brother James Cook on the Bills. And the Vikings have let it known Cook probably isn’t in their future.

Dalvin Cook joining the Buffalo Bills is an even bigger longshot than DeAndre Hopkins. Buffalo already has a jam-packed backfield with James Cook, Nyheim Hines, Damien Harris, and Latavius Murray along with longshots like Jordan Mims and Isaiah Bowser attempting to make the roster.

However, that's not to say that Buffalo couldn't use his abilities. Getting Josh Allen yet another high-powered weapon is never a bad thing, it just doesn't seem like Beane would spend the necessary assets in order to acquire or retain Cook.

James Cook and Dalvin Cook as the main backfield would definitely make for good television.
