The Las Vegas Raiders would be a good fit for one of the best remaining free agents.

The Raiders have a huge need still, and I think we all know what it is. You don't need to see anything from OTAs, or even training camp to know what they need, because it's noticeable just by looking at the roster. They need more cornerback help, desperately.

Luckily, there is still a guy out there in the free agency market that can help. One NFL analyst pointed to former Ravens and Chiefs cornerback Marcus Peters as the perfect fit.

Marcus Peters, CB Best team fit: Las Vegas Raiders The Raiders had six interceptions last season, which tied for the lowest total in the league. There's a real need for playmakers in the secondary. That's Peters, an aggressive, ball-hawking corner who has 32 interceptions over eight NFL seasons. The scheme fit works well here, too, as Peters has the traits to break on throws in the Raiders' single-high coverages while also baiting the quarterback as a rolled-up flat defender in Cover 2. Even with the injury history — Peters hasn't played a full season since 2018 — his ability to create on-the-ball production would be an upgrade to the Vegas defense. The Raiders need a guy that can help Nate Hobbs this year, because the way the roster is looking, he may be the only cornerback on the roster that can play consistently well week in and week out. Hobbs is the second-best defensive guy on the roster, Peters would help a struggling secondary greatly.

Sure, Peters is getting up there in age, but the Raiders can use the help, and they could use a veteran in that position room, which has a lot of youth in it. Jakorian Bennett is the guy in the room the Raiders would like to develop into a future cornerstone piece – having Peters around would definitely help. The fit is perfect.
