There was some not-so-pleasant news surrounding the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday.

Antonio Callaway, who the Cowboys signed to their practice squad after a workout last November, was arrested in Miami on Saturday. Callaway was a passenger in a vehicle that was pulled over for speeding, and when he presented his identification, it showed he had a warrant for driving with a suspended license and failing to pay.

A to Z Sports Dallas Primetime Show host Mauricio Rodriguez mentioned on Sunday that it was time for the Cowboys to move on from Callaway. Well, Dallas did just that on Monday by releasing him and signing Tyron Johnson as a counter-move.

It's been nothing but suspensions and team hopping for Callaway over the last several years, and he hasn't played in an actual game since 2020. There was some hope that the Cowboys could find a spark in Callaway. However, after his arrest and not even making an appearance on the field, it was time to move on.

As far as Johnson goes, he went undrafted free agent out of Oklahoma State in 2019. He's bounced around between eight different teams in just four seasons and has only logged 422 yards and three touchdowns on 23 receptions.

The majority of that was done with the Los Angeles Chargers when Johnson caught 20 passes for 398 yards in 2020 (he scored all three of his touchdowns with them).

Now, he gets his shot in Big D.
