Tennessee Titans wide receiver Treylon Burks probably isn't the biggest fan of NFL Network/NFL.com after the media giant wildly took the former Arkansas standout's words out of context this week.

On Wednesday, news broke that free agent wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins will be visiting the Titans. It will be Hopkins' first visit since his release from the Arizona Cardinals.

Hopkins, a five-time Pro Bowler, played under Titans head coach Mike Vrabel and offensive coordinator Tim Kelly during his time with the Houston Texans.

After Tennessee's practice on Wednesday, Burks was asked how he'd feel about the Titans signing Hopkins.

Here's what NFL Media's "Around the NFL" Twitter account put out after hearing Burks' comments:

That kind of looks like a petty response from Burks. And most people will just see the tweet, never click on the link to see his full comments, and then assume that Burks doesn't want Hopkins in Nashville.

But if you read the full quote, you'll quickly see that Burks never suggested that he doesn't want the Titans to sign Hopkins.

"He's an awesome player, great player. It would be fun to play with him," said Burks on Wednesday. "If we end up getting him, then we get him. If we don't, then we don't. No offense to him — he's a great player — I'm just glad, I like playing with who we have here."

That quote is nothing more than Burks saying he'd love to play with Hopkins, but if it doesn't work out, then the second-year wide receiver is happy with who the Titans already have in the wide receiver room.

I get that it's a slow time of year for storylines and narratives. But framing Burks' comments as controversial is quite a stretch. In fact, Burks couldn't have given a better answer to that question.
