It appears that the Las Vegas Raiders won't need to go quarterback shopping soon.

Free agent signing Jimmy Garoppolo's foot surgery, that tossed the organization through a loop, will be ready to go come training camp, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported on Tuesday.

"Jimmy Garoppolo has been present for basically everything inside the Raiders building," Rapoport said on NFL Network. "For where he stands, right now following the surgery several weeks ago, he is expected to be ready long before training camp. That is barring any snag in this process. If that is the case —  if Garoppolo responds as he should following the foot surgery — this will basically be over. He will get the money that is due to him. And the Raiders will have their starting."

The former San Francisco 49ers quarterback signed a three-year contract worth $72.5 million with $33.75 million fully guaranteed. But in March, Garoppolo underwent surgery on his foot that was injured in December.

That information was then compounded by Pro Football Talk's Mike Florio, who reported that the Raiders can void the Garoppolo contract if the 31-year-old is unable to pass a team physical.

However, Las Vegas head coach Josh McDaniels wasn't necessarily concerned about Garoppolo's health. He explained that he has "no anxiety" regarding the circumstances recently.

For now, it seems that the Garoppolo drama is nearing an end. His injured foot required surgery. And all those close to the quarterback's situation have expressed optimism regarding his readiness to play come team training camp in late July. So all can breathe a sigh of relief. The Raiders still have a quarterback.
