A Christmas miracle: Eagles take on Giants at Lincoln Financial Field
Eagles fans are getting an earlier Christmas gift with the Eagles taking on the Giants on Christmas Day in 2023.
Though the full 2023 NFL schedule won't be released until Thursday, Philadelphia Eagles fans are receiving a Christmas gift in May.
The Eagles are going to take on the Giants at Lincoln Finacial Field on Christmas Day and the game will be aired on FOX. Philadelphia holds a 93-88-2 record against the Giants all-time. Christmas 2023 will undoubtedly be a game that bears some significance for a division that hasn't had a repeat winner since the 2004 NFL season.
These two ball clubs met in the NFC Divisional round of the NFL Playoffs, where the Eagles beat the Giants 38-7.
Heading into the 2023 season, the Eagles are trying to build on what was an impressive 2022 season. Philadelphia appeared in the Super Bowl, where they lost to the Kansas City Chiefs.
Eagles fans will have to wait a while longer before the full schedule is released on Thursday afternoon. But they can at least rest assured knowing that Philadelphia has an opportunity to beat the Giants in a primetime holiday window again. There isn't much more someone could ask for moving forward. A national game on Christmas Day against the New York Giants? It may not be Christmas, but it is starting to feel like it already.
