Recently retired Tom Brady, a soon-to-be Hall of Famer, shared an important message this week with Tennessee Titans quarterback Will Levis and the other top signal callers from the 2023 NFL Draft.

Brady, along with Fanatics co-founder Michael Rubin and rapper Travis Scott, recently met with Levis, CJ Stroud, Anthony Richardson, and Bryce Young to share some advice and wisdom.

During the meeting, Brady shared some sage advice with Levis and the other quarterbacks — though the advice was most appropriate for Levis and Young.

"Going in the second round, in the end, that's not really that big of a deal," said Brady. "Going first overall, in the end, it's not a big deal. It's great. You got an opportunity. You're probably gonna be paid more than anyone for a time period. But I was drafted, you know, 199 — I just outlasted everybody. There's another me back there. Right. So how do I keep my edge on everybody else? I had to keep working. I didn't go 'Hey, I'm good', right? 'I won three Super Bowls I'm good'."

Brady is spot on. If Levis develops into a franchise quarterback for the Titans, no one will care that he was selected in the second round. In fact, folks probably won't even remember until they search his Wikipedia page for whatever reason. Once the pads go on and the players are on the grass, where they were drafted doesn't matter. All that matters then is the effort, preparation, and determination. And none of those three things have anything to do with where a player was drafted.

So far, we know that Levis puts forth great effort, prepares well, and seems determined to be a quality NFL starter. It's up to him to put it all together and make an impact for the Titans.
