For New England sports fans, Saturday was a night to remember.

And that's certainly the case for one New England Patriots player, who couldn't hold back his excitement over an unforgettable ending to the Boston Celtics Game 6 win over the Miami Heat.

"WOW!! @Celtics," Patriots safety Jalen Mills tweeted at the conclusion of the game.

After Al Hortford fouled Jimmy Butler on a three-point attempt with three seconds remaining, Butler stepped up to the line and sunk all three free throws. The Heat held a one-point lead in the final seconds, and the Celtics had time for just one play.

Mazzula called a timeout, and in those final seconds, it was Derrick White who inbounded the ball to Marcus Smart, with the guard lobbing up a 27-foot three-point attempt. While the shot was on target, it bounced off the rim, and it appeared the Celtics' season was over.

However, White had other ideas. The 6-foot-5, 190-pound guard hustled toward the basket and jumped up with less than a second remaining on the clock for the tip shot. As the ball fell through the net, Boston fans held their breath as they waited for the official review to prove that it occurred prior to the buzzer.

And seconds later, White was embraced with hugs and words of praise as he had saved the Celtics season and forced a game 7.

Mills followed it up with a tweet saying, "Game 7 in Bean Town!!"

The series started out poorly for the Celtics, who went down by 3-0 at the start of the Eastern Conference Finals. Yet, with Alex Rodriguez and Derek Jeter courtside at Game 4, the Celtics were able to finally claim victory, leading people to remember the 2004 American League Championship Series where the Red Sox came back from a 3-0 deficit to defeat the Yankees and move on to the World Series where they swept the St. Louis Cardinals.

Along with Mills, several other Patriots coaches and players are big fans of their fellow Boston team, with Bill Belichick in attendance at Game 1 in Boston. He was joined by Patriots captain David Andrews, who sat court-side for that same game.

With the final game of the series coming back to Boston, which Patriots players will make an appearance on Monday night?
