One NFL insider thinks the Philadelphia Eagles could be one of the teams that's involved in a new NFL tradition that's starting this fall.

Philly, as one of the hottest teams in the NFL right now, is one of the teams that NBC Sports' Peter King thinks might play on a Friday in 2023.

King noted in his Football Morning in American column this week that he feels like the matchup between the Eagles and the New York Giants is the "leader in the clubhouse" to be featured as Prime Video's "Black Friday" game (the day after Thanksgiving) this season.

The 2023 season will be the first time the NFL's had a "Black Friday" game

From NBC Sports: The first game ever on Friday afternoon after Thanksgiving is a very big deal for Amazon on the biggest shopping day of the year. I think the leader in the clubhouse for that game is Eagles-Giants. Absolutely not set in stone, though.

The 2023 NFL schedule will be officially revealed on May 11, so Eagles fans won't have to wait long to see if King is correct.
