The Chicago Bears can breathe a fresh breath of air after the release of their 2023 regular season schedule. There are plenty of unique details planted in the Bears’ schedule, but one fact should bring a sense of relief and joy to the fanbase.
The Bears bookend the season with matchups against the Green Bay Packers. Chicago plays host to the green team in the season opener and close out the year in Lambeau Field. While that’s a neat story within the schedule, it’s much sweeter knowing that it will be Jordan Love under center for the Packers.
For the first time since 1991 there will not be a Hall of Fame quarterback starting the season for Green Bay. It’s been a humbling 31 seasons for the Bears going up against the likes of Brett Favre and Aaron Rodgers twice per year, but the tides could be turning in the NFL’s oldest rivalry.

This has been the most exciting offseason for Bears fans in quite some time. Not only with the departure of Rodgers, but with Chicago’s own additions. Though it’s been a difficult couple of decades for the Bears in this rivalry, Chicago appears to finally be approaching the light at the end of this long dark tunnel.
