As the years go on, one position has started to take more of a spot in the limelight than others. Wide receiver has joined the ranks of tackle and quarterback on the offensive hierarchy, and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have benefited from this in a massive way.

The combination of Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, a third star, and depth has been a huge reason behind Tampa's success over the past few years. Now, the focus for the Bucs is on rounding out that room behind the starters.

They are obviously trying to address this. Julio Jones and Antonio Brown are off the table for different reasons, but free agency is still a decent way to address these needs.

The most recent free agent to catch the eye of the Bucs is former Seahawks wide receiver David Moore. Moore has played a limited role in the NFL since he arrived in 2017, but one has to think that a guy with 78 career receptions and five years in the league is a better bet for a team like the Bucs than an undrafted free agent.

Moore's time with Dave Canales is an obvious plus here, and it makes sense that the Buccaneers would look for guys that have some proof in their tape rather than players that are larger gambles.

Moore still needs to improve and grow some to make sure that he is able to keep a job on a roster that needs a lot from its wide receivers, but look for the veteran to have a decent chance of earning a backup job if the cards fall in the right way.
