The Kansas City Chiefs have several tough opponents on their schedule, but none are more highly anticipated than a matchup we were supposed to already have.

The Chiefs will have a pretty tough schedule, as they gear up to play every playoff opponent they have had the last two years, some teams that made it last year, and some teams who could make it this year. Their schedule isn't easy, by any means, but that doesn't mean they are running from it. In fact, they welcome the competition.

But, you could say the same thing about their opponents having a tough schedule. Why? Because they play the Chiefs, the world champions. One of the games that will be very tough for the Chiefs that maybe wouldn't have been last year is the Week 4 matchup against the New York Jets, where their new quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

They were a good team last year, but not a good team. They oftentimes found themselves losing because of quarterback play. Now they have Rodgers.

Kansas City Chiefs: at Jets, Week 4

This one is an easy choice. The New York Jets are now led by superstar quarterback Aaron Rodgers, who joined them in a blockbuster trade just before the NFL Draft. The NFL has yet to have a game in which Rodgers and Chiefs superstar quarterback Patrick Mahomes compete on the same field. In 2019, Mahomes missed the much-anticipated matchup after sustaining a dislocated right kneecap. Then, the dynamic of the 2021 game between the Chiefs and the Green Bay Packers was altered when Rodgers tested positive for COVID-19. Mahomes is the league’s reigning MVP. Rodgers was the league’s MVP in 2020 and 2021. The meeting between the Chiefs and Jets should be one of the league’s most-watched games. — Nate Taylor, The Athletic

The Chiefs have had matchups against the Green Bay Packers before, where there was an anticipated matchup of Patrick Mahomes and Aaron Rodgers. The first time, Mahomes missed the game after dealing with that knee injury where he went for it on the QB sneak. He missed the game the next week and Matt Moore almost beat the Packers at home.

The next meeting was in 2021 and his time it was Rodgers missing the game with COVID-19. This game will be great, and I hope, just like everyone else, that both quarterbacks are healthy. The Chiefs though, are the favorites even though the game is on the road.

The last time they played the Jets, you may remember all of Arrowhead was dancing during a timeout, including the entire defense. Chris Jones and Frank Clark were having a great time.
