Blockbuster trade would make Lions immediate Super Bowl contenders

The Detroit Lions were able to put together a great roster between the 2023 NFL Draft and free agency, but why should they stop there?
If this season truly does entail some Super Bowl hopes, and it should in such a weak NFC, is there any price that is too high to reach that goal?
The Lions should spend every day up until their final game of the year looking for players that have a way of making this roster better, and they have some good options right now that they should jump on.
One such player that has recently received some attention from Lions fans is Jets defensive tackle Quinnen Williams. Williams has become a stud in New York, but it has been obvious from his social media and other comments that his time with the team could be coming to a close, prompting people like Mike Valenti of 97.1 The Ticket to start looking at trade scenarios.
Valenti goes through a couple of offers and salaries for Williams, but at the end of the day, the numbers don't really matter. What matters is one simple question; does this make the Lions better at their biggest need?
The answer to that question is yes in a pretty massive way.
The Lions were able to address a lot so far during the offseason, but their defensive line still leaves a lot to be desired for a team with such high hopes.
Quinnen Williams would be the absolute pinnacle of what the Lions could hope for to bring the quality of their defense up in a playoff run.
In 2022, the young star for the Jets was able to account for an impressive 12.0 total sacks, 12 tackles for loss, and 28 quarterback hits en route to a first-team All-Pro selection. Williams is a stud, and he would be an immediate starter on this Lions defense.
The price will be steep, but the option to pair a guy like Williams with other stars like Aidan Hutchinson and C.J. Gardner-Johnson, and a highly-touted rookie in Jack Campbell goes beyond just a price.
The worst defense in the NFL from last season would then gain proven, dominant starters at every level to pair with one of the best offenses in the league.
How is it even a question? Make the call, give up any picks (that will lose value as the Lions play better) and then give Williams whatever contract he wants. It's easy.
