The New England Patriots have added a second woman to their scouting staff.

The Patriots hired Princeton director of football operations Maya Ana Callender as a scouting assistant, Neil Stratton of Inside The League tweeted out Tuesday. Callendar joins Patriots director of scouting administration Nancy Meier as the only two women on the team’s scouting staff. Software engineer Emily Capprini and assistant dietitian Samantha Couture are other women on the Patriots’ football staff.

According to her Princeton bio, Callendar was “responsible for internal and external aspects of the program. Her work touches key areas such as team travel, team communication, player engagement, recruiting, alumni relations, compliance and camps. She is also liasion with the team and NFL scouts.”

She previously was a training camp football operations intern for the Philadelphia Eagles and was named a 2022 Nunn Wooten Scouting Fellow for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
