The Kansas City Chiefs' home game against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 11 is one of the most anticipated games of the 2023 NFL season.

There was some thought that maybe the NFL would schedule the Chiefs vs Eagles in Week 1 and use it as the annual kick-off game. But instead, the NFL wisely chose to schedule the game later in the season.

ESPN will air the matchup on Monday Night Football in Week 11, giving the network one of its biggest games since Joe Buck and Troy Aikman took over in the booth.

ESPN has a request for the Eagles vs Chiefs matchup that will almost certainly be honored.

Now that the full NFL schedule is out, ESPN can start figuring out which games they want to feature on the "ManningCast" which is of course hosted by Peyton and Eli Manning.

ESPN will once again have 10 ManningCast broadcasts on Monday nights in 2023. So far, the only matchup that's been announced is the Week 1 game between the Buffalo Bills and the New York Jets.

According to The Athletic, ESPN already has their eyes on the Eagles vs Chiefs matchup as a game they want to feature on the ManningCast.

“Presuming they don’t have some conflict personally that is unmovable, we would absolutely want them on Philadelphia-Kansas City on Nov. 20," said ESPN president of content Burke Magnus to The Athletic

As long as it works for Peyton and Eli — and I'm sure they'll want to do the rematch between Patrick Mahomes and Jalen Hurts — then the Eagles vs Chiefs will be one of the ManningCast games in 2023.

By the way, the other eight games that are featured as ManningCast games won't all be "big games". The Athletic noted that ESPN wants the Mannings to do some "middle of the road" games to help give those matchups some added juice.
