The Indianapolis Colts kicked off minicamp this week as the team moves over to the next stage of the offseason. It's an opportunity for first-year head coach Shane Steichen to install his plans for the upcoming season.

Naturally, all eyes are on rookie quarterback Anthony Richardson. Richardson was selected in the top-five and has no shortage of expectations placed on his shoulders. However, Richardson has not let the pressure get to him at this point.

In fact, the rising signal caller had a little bit of fun with the media during his appearance on Wednesday. When asked how the experience in the NFL have been so far, the quarterback quoted an iconic statement from Marshawn Lynch.

"I'm just here so I don't get fined," Richardson answered with a laugh, referencing Lynch's words from the memorable press conference, before continuing. "Nah, I'm just kidding."

The clip has since made the waves on Twitter, as Richardson's personality was put on full display. While not a big moment, it showed how cool, calm, and collected that the rookie is.

As it stands now, Richardson is in the middle of a quarterback competition with Gardner Minshew. Minshew holds the upper hand in terms of NFL experience and familiarity with Steichen's offensive system.

But that has not flustered the first-round selection at all. Instead, he is having fun with the moment and embracing the challenge. Which is exactly what you want if you're the Indianapolis Colts.

"He studies hard, he picks it up, he wants to learn," Minshew said of Richardson. "So, he’s been doing a great job there. He has been improving steadily and I think he will continue to.”
