The New Orleans Saints dealt with an unbelievable amount of injuries in 2022. It felt like as soon as they got a key player back, another one dropped to some sort of ailment. The luck was horrific, and the Saints believe that won't happen again. If it doesn't, they are set up quite nicely to re-gain their NFC South crown in 2023.

Minicamp was this week for New Orleans, and there were many takeaways. Michael Thomas and Chris Olave look like a dangerous duo at wideout. The secondary is buzzing with energy. Alvin Kamara looks healthier than he ever has been before.

All in all, there were plenty of positives. One major takeaway is a bit more general, though. It's extremely important for the Saints this season. New Orleans survived minicamp without sustaining any major injuries.

The most notable injury flare-ups were for wide receivers Chris Olave and Rashid Shaheed. Both of them were minor situations, though. Dennis Allen assured everyone that they were not worried about either player's injury going forward.

It'll be over a month before we see the Saints on the field doing live work again. That'll be training camp. Hopefully, in that time, they will remain very healthy across the board.
