The Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver group will have the spotlight shining on them all season long and for good reason.

After all, Calvin Ridley is joining an already productive passing offense and he'll get to battle with Christian Kirk for the top role while both complement each other. On top of that, Zay Jones' explosive play-making will also be a part of the offense again.

But while the players will be the focus of our attention, don't overlook the work from Chad Hall behind the scenes. The Jaguars' new wide receivers coach is making a very strong first impression.

"Chad relates well with that group," a visibly excited Doug Pederson told reporters on Monday. "Being a former player, and obviously a guy that's worked extremely hard to get to this level as a coach and I think that that really rubs off on to the players in a positive way."

Since his days with the Buffalo Bills, the 37-year-old coach has been known for being beloved by the players. Hall even described his philosophy as one driven by his relationships with them.

Now, Hall reunites with both Pederson and GM Trent Baalke, who he had worked with in previous stops of his career. As a player, he was on Pederson's Eagles and Baalke's 49ers.

"What I've seen this offseason is the respect that the players give him, the veteran players," the Jaguars head coach added, "Even Christian and Zay, those guys that have had a lot of experience playing, giving Chad the respect of being their coach."

Hall is stepping into a position with high expectations. After all, he'll be responsible for coaching the receivers that were a part of the sixth-best passing offense in the NFL last per (per DVOA).

It sounds like he's already delivering.

"You see just how important Chad is, how he's making those guys better, and the attention to detail that they've had and it's been really good," concluded Pederson. "I just can't really just say enough good things, positive things about Chad and what he's done in that room already."
