The New Orleans Saints struck gold in the first round last year when they took wide receiver Chris Olave. He racked up 1,042 yards and four touchdowns on 72 receptions.

Olave did so despite the quarterback in New Orleans being average, but now with Derek Carr at the helm, and hopefully a healthy Michael Thomas, he can see an uptick in his production in Year 2.

New Orleans is currently on a break before they reconvene in late July to start training camp. Olave is using some of that time to host his second annual Football Camp later this week at Mission Mills High School in San Marcos, California where he graduated from which is located just outside of San Diego.

Olave was on Good Morning Football on Monday and spoke about the upcoming event.

"I'm just blessed to be in this position that I am today," Olave told NFL Nerwork's Tom Pelissero. "I know growing up I always looked up to the NFL guys and professional players. So just be able to able to give back to the community and being able to give back to these kids just to show them that it's possible.

"I was a young kid just like them. Just being able to show face and being able to move around and have fun with them on a day when I'm off just to show love. I feel like that's one of the main reasons why I'm here so I'm glad to be able to do it on the 30th."

Olave is in a situation where he is the NFL star now and kids are looking to him. He has all the resources to give back, and who knows, he just may spark something that breeds one or several future stars at Mission Mills.
