If there are any doubts about the chemistry between Seattle Seahawks quarterback Geno Smith and newly-minted Seahawks wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba, there shouldn't be.

The duo already has a new nickname.

7-11, like the gas station.

In a video posted on the Seahawks' Twitter, the two were seen connecting on a few slant routes, but also chopping it up on the field — adding legs to the claims Smith has made regarding his new rookie wide receiver.

Take a look at the video:

This video seems in line with everything that has come out from the Seahawks camp regarding how highly they think of Smith-Njigba.

After offseason workouts, Smith was gushing praise for the rookie receiver, whom D.K. Metcalf described as a "veteran" already.

"He’s so impressive," Smith said. "Very smooth route runner, natural hands. Also, the game is not too big for him. You can see he’s got that self-confidence that you look for. He’s learning – he’s picking up his assignments like all the other rookies and new guys. Jaxon’s been tremendous so far, and I’m looking forward to seeing him grow."

It sounds like 7-11 is going to put the NFL world on notice sooner rather than later.

"Hopefully I can make his life a little easier," Smith-Njigba said at minicamp regarding Smith. "He’s a great quarterback, can sling it, and I’ll be excited to be out there with him when that day comes."

But the praise for the rookie wide receiver didn't stop at the quarterback, Tyler Lockett also had something to say about the talented Smith-Njigba.

"I think he's going to be phenomenal, man," Lockett said. "It's always hard just being able to get adjusted when you first come in. But the way he runs routes, the way he's understanding the way that [receivers coach] Sanjay [Lal] coaches, the sky's going to be the limit. I think he's going to be really good at all the things that the Seahawks — that we — want him to be able to do."

It is clear that Smith-Njigba has rubbed everyone the right way. And he is already connecting with his starting quarterback, which bodes well for a Seahawks offense that is trying to take a step forward after getting off to a hot start in 2022 and fizzling out at the end of the season.
