The Dallas Cowboys are entering a new era offensively as they have moved on from offensive coordinator Kellen Moore.

Moore will now take over those duties for the Los Angeles Chargers who have a talented offense including a rising star at quarterback in Justin Herbert.

Speaking of quarterbacks, Moore spent several years working with Dak Prescott, and the results were plentiful. Despite his new gig in LA, Moore recently gave Prescott some major kudos.

"The best person. I think the best leader I've ever been around easily, and in all honesty, player or coach or anything," Moore said, via Peter Schrager of Fox Sports. "I think his ability to connect with a team in all spectrums is rare, and I've never seen it in any other way.

"His work ethic, his command, I think he's incredible. And so I know we've all been through that Dallas journey and he has a phenomenal way of being I'll deal with probably more than your average NFL starting quarterback and he handles it beautifully and that's certainly a guy you forever root for."

Considering that Moore has been around guys like Tony Romo and Matthew Stafford at the quarterback position plus former Cowboys' head coach Jason Garrett, that's quite the compliment he gave Prescott, to say the least.

Moore and Prescott weren't able to win a Super Bowl together, but they produced some highly productive offenses.

The Cowboys had the top-ranked offense in 2019 and 2021. Dallas has finished in the top six in points per game three times in the last four seasons which includes leading the league in that category two seasons ago.

That's quite a bit of magic Moore and Prescott created, and it's certainly formed a bond and respect between the two.
