The New Orleans Saints took a risk when they signed tight end Foster Moreau back in May.

It wasn't because of his play, it was the Hodgkin's Lymphoma diagnosis that he received back in March during a physical when he visited the team. Moreau would step away for a while to begin his treatment.

Despite all the challenges, Moreau made his way onto the practice field when the Saints began OTAs. Well, on Monday, Moreau announced some extremely heartwarming news, his cancer is in full remission.

Hodgkin's Lymphoma is a cancer of the part of the immune system called the lymphatic system. Foster was diagnosed with a rare form of the disease that was very treatable called nodular lymphocyte-predominant Hodgkin lymphoma or NLPHL for short.

Foster's treatment started with six to eight hours of drip infusion which lasted for one day. Over the next several weeks, Foster had his medication either ingested or injected through his stomach.

This is the perfect way for the Saints, and more importantly Foster, to head into training camp at the end of the month.
