2024 four-star athlete Boo Carter, a Tennessee Vols commit, sent a message on Saturday that UT fans will love.

Carter, who committed to the Vols last month, took to Twitter to do some recruiting.

The Tennessee native tweeted a list of players that he wants to commit to the Vols, along with a player he hopes UT can flip.

Carter tweeted that he wants five-star wide receiver Mike Matthews, five-star wide receiver Ryan Wingo, four-star wide receiver Amari Jefferson, four-star offensive lineman Bennett Warren, five-star defensive lineman Kamarion Franklin, four-star cornerback Kai Bates, and five-star edge rusher Jordan Ross. He also wants to flip four-star safety Demello Jones, who is currently committed to the Georgia Bulldogs.

That would be quite the list of players to land.

And the good news for Tennessee is that it's entirely possible (though maybe not likely) that the Vols land every player that Carter listed. Some are more likely than others — Wingo, for example, appears to be trending toward Texas — but Tennessee is definitely in the mix for all of the players on Carter's wishlist.

Tennessee is wading in different recruiting waters than they did under previous head coaches. Which is why Vols fans should feel confident that Josh Heupel is going to have Tennessee in the playoff conversation for years to come.

Carter, by the way, should be lauded by Tennessee fans for the energy he's putting in on the recruiting trail. If the Vols' end up with a program-changing recruiting class in 2024, Carter will deserve plenty of credit.
