Tyron Smith has been one of the mainstays for the Dallas Cowboys for over a decade, and he'll have a bronze bust in Canton, Ohio someday.

The only flaw Smith has had during his career has been staying healthy. His ultra-dominant days may be behind him, but Smith is still a force to be reckoned with when he's on the field. 

Smith still moves the needle enough to gain huge respect around the NFL. When over 80 voters that include coaches, execs, and scouts put their minds together recently, Smith was given an honorable mention nod on ESPN's top 10 offensive tackle rankings.

The eight-time Pro Bowler had an 89.1% pass block win rate and gave up one sack last season. "I still have him as a top guy. When he's healthy, and he's right, he's a load," an NFL personnel director said. "He's held up well. They had him on the right side last year, but he's a natural left." –Jeremy Fowler, ESPN 

Smith may have looked out of place at right tackle a year ago with Terence Steele dealing with a torn ACL, but he played pretty well all things considered.

The only significant time Smith has had on the field over the last three seasons was in 2021 (missed 33 games). He would post his career-best run-blocking grade of 90.5, his 88.0 pass-blocking grade was his fourth highest, and the 91.4 overall offensive grade he registered was his second-best, per Pro Football Focus.

All the Cowboys can hope for with Smith these days is that he can give them as many games as possible because he hasn't played a full season since 2015. But when he's out there the Cowboys still have a formidable offensive front.
