Eagles LB Haason Reddick: 'There's still more levels for me to tap into'
The rest of the league may be in real trouble if the Philadelphia Eagles linebacker means what he says.
The rest of the NFL should be shaking in their boots if what Philadelphia Eagles linebacker Haason Reddick said is true.
As Reddick enters his second year with Philadelphia, he plans to build on his previous success and gave the league an incredible proclamation following a 16-sack season in 2022.
"I'm in great shape," Reddick said this past weekend at his fifth annual youth camp, via The Philadelphia Inquirer. "As crazy as it sounds, I feel as if there's still more levels for me to tap into. I'm extremely excited and looking to build on another great year. I want to continue to progress on what I did and what the team did last year."
Along with the sack numbers, Reddick did a little bit of everything on the field last season. He had 26 quarterback hits and five forced fumbles. He also earned a Pro Bowl nod, validating the ferocity he played with throughout each game.
And after getting a taste of the Super Bowl, losing to the Kansas City Chiefs, Reddick feels like he knows exactly what the Eagles need to do to not only get back to the biggest game in the league but actually win it in 2024.
"We know our ultimate goals," he said. "But it starts with us striving for constant success."
If Reddick can reach that self-advertised "next level" Philadelphia returning to a Super Bowl will feel like a mere formality.
