Former Cal wide receiver Kekoa Crawford is signing with the Kansas City Chiefs.
Crawford participated in the team's rookie minicamp as a tryout player, and the Chiefs then invited him to mandatory minicamp to get a better look. He clearly impressed the coaching staff and earned himself a spot on the 90-man roster.
In 2022, Crawford signed with the Colts as an undrafted free agent. However, Indianapolis cut him early in training camp. He was not on an active NFL roster last season and is still looking for his first NFL snap.
Crawford participated in Cal Pro Day earlier this offseason and recorded 40 times of 4.42 seconds and 4.44 seconds, both big improvements from the year prior.
Crawford played two years at Michigan before transferring and playing his final three collegiate seasons for Cal.
He totaled 96 receptions, 1307 receiving yards, and six touchdowns over his five seasons in college, a majority of which came in his final three years at Cal.
