At Tight End University, the Kansas City Chiefs star tight end Travis Kelce joked around that he fixed his biggest flaw.
Kelce is the best tight end in the league, and many people argue he is the best of all time. But, just like every player in the history of the NFL, he has flaws too. One of his flaws is that he could be a better run locker. Well, that's what's said about him. He is fine with it; he isn't asked to do it as much as other tight ends.
On Wednesday, during Tight End U, he joked around about George Kittle helping him with it.
"What's good, baby? Just wrapped up day one and tight-end u out here in Vandy, Nash-Vegas, as I like to call it. And, you know what day one was a success? I got to see Rob Gronkowski run some routes, baby. And I learned how to block. George Kittle taught me how to block. So I'm a better blocker. That's good."
Kelce has always been bagged on for his blocking. A few years ago, before Kelce ran away with the debate, the conversation was about him or Kittle, and everyone liked Kittle more because he was a good blocker. Kittle is a great blocker, but he isn't better at anything else than Kelce.
So, this was Kelce being petty, which we have seen a few Chiefs players do so far this offseason. You love to see it.
