The one draft scenario no one is talking about for the Raiders

This draft is equally as important as any draft over the last few years for the Las Vegas Raiders. They fell flat on their face last year, and their rookie class sure didn't help any. Out of that class, only a few guys contributed a ton. But, it's still early.
Because of how many draft picks they have, this upcoming rookie class is sure to have a bigger impact than last year's. And you factor in the fact that they have a top-10 pick, we are sure to see some rookies come in and produce, and possibly start.
With the seventh pick, we have heard a lot of different ideas about what the Raiders may do. There is the idea that they are interested in going after a quarterback if one is the best guy available, but we have also heard that the Raiders will only draft a quarterback if it's C.J. Stroud or Bryce Young.
We know that they desperately need defense, like really bad. Most fans and media hope they go defense with the majority of their defense. But there is one scenario that it seems like no one is thinking about that the Raiders could do.
There is a chance the Raiders could trade back, whether it be still in the top ten, in the top 15, or even the 30th pick with a few others packaged, like maybe a 2024 first-rounder.
I think the Raiders could find a defensive guy they really like, maybe a secondary player, in the 20s, and trade back to get him while getting more draft capital for the future. They have 12 draft picks this draft, so trading some of them is bound to happen.
But, what about trading back to get a guy like Emmanuel Forbes from Mississippi State – a cornerback that had 14 interceptions during his time in college? He can come in and start right away and has the potential to be a game-changer, while maybe getting a first-rounder next year.
They could also trade back for maybe the 10th pick in the draft and get another draft pick in return, especially if it's looking like most of the picks ahead of them will be offensive picks.
It's just a thought, and it's very possible.
